Challenge
A global law firm with 750 lawyers and 52 fortune 500 clients was managing a global network of on prem data centers via internal IT staff. They saw adopting various cloud services as an opportunity to reduce operational costs; however, with no outside assistance and an overworked internal staff, they lacked the ability to focus efforts on innovation as opposed to general daily operations activities.
Solution
Utilizing nDivision’s Autonomic Managed Service to support 100% of their ongoing global IT operations spanning over 2,100 configuration items, their internal staff was able to begin planning more strategic initiatives around cloud adoption.
Results
Within the first 8 months of the service, nDivision was able to achieve 73% autonomic resolution on IT incidents, meaning these incidents were being resolved with no human involvement, and the remaining incidents were being handled through a combination of autonomic assistance and nDivision engineers. In the following months, the customer was able to build their business case and requirements for the cloud, and they have placed trust in nDivision resources to assist in the validation of their cloud initiatives.
